MY BELOVED
******************
There was a time in my youth,
When Islam was only a custom.
They said "say La IIaha IIIa Allah,..
And pray, you’ll go to Heaven."
*****************************
Ah, how simple, no struggle in this,
Just a word, and simple act.
Thereafter I’m absorbed in this world again,
With my ‘assured’ place in Paradise intact.
*********************************
But this was not to be my fate
For ALLAH chose to guide my heart.
I learnt of a man who struggled so hard
When his mission was from the start.
*****************************
The story of someone who had morals,
Spoke gently, kindness he knew.
Never fearing to say what’s right,
His conviction in ISLAM was true.
****************************
The touch of his hand was as soft as silk
To comfort a crying child.
To mend his clothes, or do the chores,
Never complaining, he always smiled.
********************************
A living he made with his bare hands,
The same that held his mighty sword.
Valour shone from the edge of his blade,
*********************************
His smell was always of musk,
And cleanliness he kept at his best.
Stark contrast with the heroes of today,
Who stink of beer and sweat.

Assalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu

BissmiAllah ar rahmaan ar raheem

I know from personal experience how easy it is to get caught up in the dunyeh, and although we remember Jennah, we take it for granted.
Thinking its just sitting there waiting for us and we dont have to make an effort.
We should not only remember all the blessings that we want in Jennah, but also what we can do to get us closer to that place we yearn to enter.
Ya Allaah the more we think about all the beauty of Jennah and everything we desire there, the more we wonder "what are we doing to deserve it?"
We need Allaah, Allaah does not need us.

A brother said:
"you know, it’d be so awesome if there’s something on your mind, you can go and talk to Rasool Allaah (saws) and even Allaah"

"imagine having Allah to talk to and having Allah to listen to. Allah: the one who knows everything you ever went through in the dunyaa. The One who knows everything you ever felt. The One who knows everything you always wanted."

"imagine seeing the look on the face of your love, when each time they gaze upon you, you look more beautiful than the last time"

^Dude, imagine that !!!!!!!!!!!!!! subhanAllaah!

I just really loved those words. This is definately something to think about.

subhanaAllah it’s so sad how we easily get caught up in whats happenning in this world and forget whats awaiting us - what Allah subhaanahu wa ta3la has promised us, we give so much for the beauty and happiness of this world, yet we’ve already been promised by our Creator, the One who knows everything and is in control of everything, everlasting happiness, beauty, peace and absolute satisfaction…subhaanaAllah. This world ‘aint worth loosing that precious place in Jannah…not worth it at all and we need to remember that ever single day, every single moment we have left and May Allah help us to please Him always, ameen.

Being in the company of Allah, the Prophets, the sahabahs..*sigh*…

on of the Paradise and the delights that it contains:

"And if you ask about its ground and its soil, then it is of musk and saffron.

And if you ask about its roof, then it is the Throne of the Most Merciful.

And if you ask about its rocks, then they are pearls and jewels.

And if you ask about its buildings, then they are made of bricks of gold and silver.

And if you ask about its trees, then it does not contain a single tree except that its trunk is made of gold and silver.

And if you ask about its fruits, then they are softer than butter and sweeter than honey.

And if you ask about its leaves, then they are softer than the softest cloth.

And if you ask about its rivers, then there are rivers of milk who’s taste does not change, and rivers of wine that is delicious to those who drink it, and rivers of honey that is pure, and rivers of water that is fresh.

And if you ask about their food, then it is fruits from whatever they will choose, and the meat of whatever birds they desire.

And if you ask about their drink, then it is Tasneem, ginger, and Kaafoor.

And if you ask about their drinking cups, then they are crystal-clear and made of gold and silver.

And if you ask about its shade, then a fast rider would ride in the shade of one of its trees for a hundred years and not escape it.

And if you ask about its vastness, then the lowest of its people would have within his kingdom and walls and palaces and gardens the distance that would be travelled in a thousand years.

And if you ask about its tents and encampments, then one tent is like a concealed pearl that is sixty miles long.

And if you ask about its towers, then they are rooms above rooms in buildings that have rivers running underneath them.

And if you ask about how far it reaches into the sky, then look at the shining star that is visible, as well as those that are far in the heavens that the eyesight cannot possibly reach.

And if you ask about the clothing of its inhabitants, then they are of silk and gold.

And if you ask about its beds, then its blankets are of the finest silk laid out in the highest of its levels.

And if you ask about the faces of its inhabitants and their beauty, then they are like the image of the Moon.
